Discussing.ca is a general discussion online Forum Community. At Discussing.ca members discuss topics related to various themes based on different forum categories and topics created by other members.

You Agree to the terms and conditions outlined in the forum registration and any other web form located on this site. All activity on Discussing.ca as an end user is strictly voluntary. Discussing.ca members acknowledge the use of free speech and independent opinion on this site is conditional to the terms and agreements outlined when registering on Discussing.ca. Discussing.ca has the right to moderate all posts and discussions. Any inappropriate use of the forum and posting guidelines will be subject to possible site suspension, temporary ban, or permanent ban of your member account.

Collection of Information:

Discussing.ca does not collect any personal information other than what is submitted to the site in such manners as a web form, registration information, and browser cookie settings. Discussing.ca does collect end users’ IP Address, email address, and date/time of each post. Discussing.ca does not disclose any end user information on the site publicly, privately or commercially, except those web forms which have their own agreements, but does retain certain information for in-house technical administration, marketing and maintenance of the web forum application.

Cookies:

Discussing.ca uses web technology that produces a forum board online, and requires the use of cookies to be placed on end users local computer. Cookies are used for technical web programming information and do not contain any private, confidential, or sensitive information.

Discussing.ca does contain links to other sites that may include but not limited to advertisers, third party advertiser links, forum members link contributions, and other affiliated links. Discussing.ca is not responsible for the content, activities, cookies, and information collected by other sites that are linked to from this site. Forum Software Privacy Policy:

This policy explains in detail how “Discussing.ca” along with its affiliated companies (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “Discussing.ca”, “https://www.discussing.ca”) and phpBB (hereinafter “they”, “them”, “their”, “phpBB software”, “www.phpbb.com”, “phpBB Limited”, “phpBB Teams”) use any information collected during any session of usage by you (hereinafter “your information”).

Your information is collected via two ways. Firstly, by browsing “Discussing.ca” will cause the phpBB software to create a number of cookies, which are small text files that are downloaded on to your computer’s web browser temporary files. The first two cookies just contain a user identifier (hereinafter “user-id”) and an anonymous session identifier (hereinafter “session-id”), automatically assigned to you by the phpBB software. A third cookie will be created once you have browsed topics within “Discussing.ca” and is used to store which topics have been read, thereby improving your user experience.

This process will ask you to submit your user name and your email, then the phpBB software will generate a new password to reclaim your account.
